DDS Training & Sedation Support
Services is proud to fill a vital need for ALS or ACLS in the dental healthcare field. All
of our programs meet or exceed AGD, ADA, & state Dental Board training recommendations and/or
requirements for conscious sedation and general anesthesia licensing.

Our ACLS for Dental Healthcare Professionals program covers all Advanced Cardiac Life
Support topics recommended by the American Heart Association. In addition to these topics we adapt the program to
spend more time on addressing dental medical emergencies common in your field of practice. We minimize the
time spent on treatment options that are uncommon in dentistry. Additional features of our ACLS for Dentistry
program include:
- Flexible blended training format (blend of online and classroom training). Online portions of the
course cover the "required" ACLS skills material and testing requirement. Classroom based portion includes
clinical testing (mega-code), specialized dental medical emergency training, and mock emergency drills unique
to the dental practice.
- Learn ACLS with fellow dental professionals only. Offering our program to dental professionals only allows
us to tailor the program specifically for dental practices rather than having to "cover all the bases" as a
typical hospital ACLS class delivered to a mixed group of dentists, nurses, physicians, EMTs, and paramedics
would require.
- Keep in mind that current BLS CPR is a prerequisite for enrolling in this course. And, of course, we
encourage you to take our BLS for
Dental Healthcare Professionals course to fulfill that requirement.
